‘Bhulan the maze’ became the first Chhattisgarhi movie to receive National Award. This is the first Chhattisgarhi language movie that won a national award. The film won the award in the regional film category. ‘Bhulan the maze’ was Directed and produced by Manoj Verma, which was predicated on the novel 'Bhulan-Kanda' inscribed by Sanjeev Bakshi.
The more intriguing thing is that this movie is centered on a plant called Bhulan kanda(in regional language), which is famous for its weird property. People verbalize that if any person steps on Bhulan Kanda a short-term recollection loss transpires to that person. The stories of forgetting the path by stepping on a mistake, are auricularly discerned from local peoples but it has no consequential evidence about that. There are many people in many Vananchal, but few people apperceive this plant.

The film won National Film Award for Best Film in the Regional Film category. As of now, there is no mainstream cinema, till now 'Bhulan the Mage' was not getting screens in the country.
But after being culled for the National Film Awards, the director of the film Manoj Verma hopes that the film will be shown in theaters and OTT platforms.
